Manufacturers' costs unexpectedly fall in July
British manufacturers' costs fell at their sharpest monthly pace in 1-1/2 years in July but were still nearly a third higher than a year ago, and analysts do not expect any let up from rising headline inflation just yet.

Factory gate inflation highest in over 20 years
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) released figures on Monday showing the first double digit rise in factory gate inflation since records began. Manufacturers' costs were also recorded as rising at record levels.
