Logica axe 1,300 jobs
Logica Plc, the IT services company said that it would be axing around 1,300 jobs in a £110 million restructuring programme. The company said it expected the restructuring to deliver cost savings reaching an annualised amount of £80 million from 2010.

Tottenham profits down after manager change
Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur has said that its profits fell in the second half of 2007. The side said that its profits before transfers as of 31 December 2007 were £9.9 million, down 30 per cent from £14.2 million in 2006.
