Taiwan suggests SARS a China warfare plot
Taiwan legislators wearing surgical masks and displaying banners with a skull and crossbones took over parliament's floor on Tuesday after the island's security chief accused China of starting the global SARS epidemic six years ago as part of a biological warfare campaign.

Logica first-half revenue rises
IT group Logica said first half revenue rose 6 percent to 1.77 billion pounds, after a good performance in all markets and it upped its full-year revenue growth forecast to 4 percent from 3 percent.

Logica axe 1,300 jobs
Logica Plc, the IT services company said that it would be axing around 1,300 jobs in a £110 million restructuring programme. The company said it expected the restructuring to deliver cost savings reaching an annualised amount of £80 million from 2010.

Anglo Dutch computer services company LogicaCMG posted 2006 results in line with market expectations on Wednesday and said it expected sustained growth in 2007 amid positive market conditions.

LogicaCMG offers to buy WM-data
Anglo-Dutch computer services firm LogicaCMG said on Monday it would offer 11.9 billion Swedish crowns (882 million pounds) to buy Nordic rival WM-data and issue up to 409 million new shares.
