Irish House Price Growth Continues to Decline
Irish house prices rose by 0.7% nationally during the month of September. The rise is the fourth month in a row which has seen a fall in the rate of growth. The slow down in growth has been attributed to the recent increase in interest rates by the European Central Bank.

Eurotunnel reported further growth during the third quarter of 2006. Revenue has increased by 7%, reaching £149.5m, revenue from Shuttle activities was reported as increasing by 12% Increases on 2005, in car and truck traffic were also reported.
