Intertek profit rises as sees strong performance
Testing and inspections company Intertek Group posted a 20.1 percent rise in first half profit on Monday and said it expected to perform strongly in the remainder of the year.

BG H1 profits up 92%
BG Group said on Thursday that its total operating profit increased 92 per cent to £1,431 million in the second quarter. The gas producer said that its strong results were driven by higher prices and increased margins in its liquefied natural gas business.
