Moss Bros like for like sales down
Moss Bros said on Friday its like for like sales for the first 19 weeks of 2008 fell 1.5 per cent compared with the same period the previous year. The menswear company added that it had cut the amount of old stock it kept by 41 per cent.

Clothing chain Moss Bros Group said on Thursday talks with Icelandic suitor Baugur were continuing, while like-for-like sales rose 0.9 percent in the first nine weeks of the financial year.

Moss Bros confirm offer amid drop in sales
Moss Bros Group has confirmed that received an indicative offer from a new company formed by Baugur Group and investment partners Newco, worth 42 pence per share. Moss Bros has said it has granted Newco due diligence access.
