British Energy seeks higher bids
On Monday British Energy Plc said that none of the takeover proposals it had currently received were above its share price as of 6 June 2008. The nuclear power company said that none of the proposals represented value for shareholders.

British Energy receives high value proposals
British Energy said on Friday that it had received a "range of proposals from several parties" interested in making a takeover of the company. British Energy said that some proposals were higher than its closing share price on 15 May 2008.
