The Communication Workers Union (CWU) is to continue with the postal strike which has affected deliveries across many parts of the country.

London will face another 24 hours strike action on Wednesday, August 12. The postal service is recovering from a three day strike that began end of last week and running till Monday, August 11.

Industrial action is set to continue today in Stoke-On-Trent, parts of Bristol will be affected on Thursday and Basildon, Essex on Friday.

On August 12, Royal mail collections will be limited throughout London except in postcodes W5, W7 and W13. Postal deliveries will also be affected on Wednesday in London with only limited mail deliveries taking place in the E, EC, N, NW, SE, SW, WC and W areas of London.

The collection and delivery services will be back to normal on Thursday 13 August in London, however, the collection and delivery schedule may vary due to the large volume of accumulated mail.
