IT group Logica said first half revenue rose 6 percent to 1.77 billion pounds, after a good performance in all markets and it upped its full-year revenue growth forecast to 4 percent from 3 percent.
The company, which announced a $219 million restructuring plan in April, said adjusted operating profit was up 16 percent at 118 million pounds, beating a company-supplied consensus of 115 million pounds.
It is paying an interim dividend of 2.4 pence a share, up 4 percent.
"Given the market environment, we remain alert to changes in customer sentiment, but our first half performance gives us increased confidence that pro-forma revenue growth will be closer to 4 percent," the company said.
