Mobile phone giant Vodafone has dropped out of an auction for Italian firm Tiscali, it was reported on Thursday.
According to the Financial Times (FT), people close to the auction have said that Tiscali has received one offer for the company, but that Vodafone would not be making a bid.
The FT claimed that BSkyB, Carphone Warehouse, Wind and Swisscom are all interested in Tiscali.
The report said that Vodafone could rejoin the bidding if no agreement was reached between Tiscali and the other interested parties.
Vodafone have not commented on the story.
