British Airways to launch new airline

British Airways is to launch a new airline on Thursday that will provide flights from New York to continental Europe, it was reported on Wednesday.
The story by the Wall Street Journal claimed that the airline was being launched in order to take advantage of recent deregulation of trans-Atlantic air travel.
British Airways have not commented on the story.
