Silverjet planes could fly "in a matter of weeks"
Silverjet planes could by flying again "in a matter of weeks" it was announced on Wednesday.
The business class only airline was forced to suspend flights and shares and go into administration last month thanks to rising oil prices and a lack of cash.
Investment firm Kingsplace said that if negotiations were successful it hoped to be running Silverjet services again "in a matter of weeks", reports the BBC.
Around 10,000 people were forced to make other travel arrangements when Silverjet flights were suspended. Kingsplace has said that they intend to honour existing customer tickets and to retain all of the airline's current staff.
Lawrence Hunt, chief executive of Silverjet, said, "We will be working around the clock to launch our New York and Dubai services as quickly as possible and we will make the announcement about the date for relaunching our services in due course," reports the BBC.
