Silverjet said in talks with buyers for sale
Posted 02 June 2008 @ 06:51 am GMT
Silverjet, the latest business-class airline to collapse, is in talks with a number of potential buyers to agree a sale early this week, the Sunday Times reported.
The company, launched at the start of 2007, on Friday called in administrators and grounded its fleet after failing to get an emergency $5 million (2.53 million pound) loan.
The paper, quoting industry sources, said Viceroy Holdings, the investment fund behind the failed refinancing deal, might consider a bid, with another coming from a group of former Silverjet managers.
Silverjet was not immediately available for comment.
