Nokia Announces Microsoft Live Search Agreement

Nokia announced today that it had reached an agreement with Microsoft to integrate Live Search capabilities into its Mobile Search platform. This will allow consumers access to Live Search directly from Nokia Nseries multimedia computers and other compatible Nokia S60 devices. The service will be provided in 14 languages.

Miicrosoft’s part of the deal is to provide advanced search results for web search, as well as quick access to things like stock quotes and movie times.

Ralph Eric Kunz, vice president of Multimedia Experiences said in a statement, "Adding the advanced searching capabilities of Microsoft's Live Search to our Mobile Search platform provides our customers with unique and powerful new ways to search the internet on their multimedia computers and many other compatible Nokia mobile devices."
